Meditaatio- ja rentoutusmusiikin aatelia on tämä Deuterin Mystinen matka, kuten suuri osa hänen tuotannostaan. Saksalaissyntyinen, nykyisin USA:n Santa Fen vuorilla asuva New Age -musiikin tekijä käyttää kappaleissaan sekä akustisia että sähköisiä instrumentteja, opiskelee ja luo jatkuvasti uutta. Hän on usean vuosikymmenen kuluessa julkaissut yli 70 albumia, joiden joukossa tämä uusi valikoima sisältää pehmeäsävyistä hoitavaa instrumentaalimusiikkia.

Levyn kappaleet ovat osittain jo aikaisemmin julkaistuja, mutta vahvalta tunnelmaltaan yhteneväisiä. Ne kantavat kuulijaa rauhalliseen olotilaan ja sopivat erityisesti rentoutushoitojen taustalle. Tai laitapa levy soimaan rankan työpäivän jälkeen niin koet ihmeen ja siirryt hiljaisuuteen ja keveyteen.

Kappaleiden nimet kertovat musiikin luonteesta: Hiljainen aalto, Oliviilehto, Matka tähtiin, Purjehdus pilvissä, Irti painovoimasta, Taivaan kedot, Mystinen matka, Tonglen. Näitä kaikkia kuuntelee suurella nautinnolla, mutta suosikkini on japanilaishenkinen Escape from Gravity, sen huilusoundit kohottavat ja valaisevat mieltä. Hyvin samanhenkinen edellisen kanssa on levyn uusin sävelmä, tiibetiläiseen meditaatioon viittaava Tonglen, ja miellyttävän meditatiiviseen tilaan tämä musiikki johdattaakin.
